Original job description

We’re on the hunt for a full-time Graphic Designer who’s passionate about crafting powerful visuals that bring design and advertising concepts to life.

If you thrive on using typography, illustration, design, and motion graphics to create award-winning art, this is your opportunity to shine.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll be rubbing elbows with our award-winning team, bouncing smart, awe-inspiring ideas off each other and helping to create a best-in-class visual experience for us and our clients.

What you’ll bring:

Strong working knowledge of the latest Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
Solid sense of design and aesthetics, including illustrations and motion graphics.
Strong understanding of preparing final artwork for print and digital use.
Photoshop experience is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or in an advertising agency.

Who you are:

Strong understanding of print and digital design principles.
Passionate about producing high-quality work.
Detail-oriented problem solver and improviser.
Eager to embrace learning curves and challenges.
Skilled at prioritizing workload and working efficiently across projects.
Interested in the latest technologies and trends, and eager to share insights with the team.
Strong collaborator in a team environment.

What we offer:

You'll be part of an outstanding team that values everyone's unique talents and empowers you to do what's right for the client, and to do it well. As a member of our team, you will:

Enjoy an open and approachable culture that offers the flexibility and support you need to balance your work and personal life.
Work in an environment where the right technology and infrastructure encourage innovation, collaboration, and creativity.
Enhance your skills and advance your career through ongoing learning opportunities and individualized development planning.
Share in our collective success with a competitive compensation package, health and wellness benefits, group medical and dental insurance, and an annual teamshare profit-sharing program.

Truth be told, we’re the longest-running independent agency in Canada, so we’ve been at this for a while. Our philosophy is simple: Hire the best people. Select the best clients. Do the best work.

If you feel like we’re the right fit for you, drop us a line at careers@targetmarketing.ca
