Are you looking to join a team of professional, supportive sales representatives? We are currently seeking an Outside Technical Sales Representative for Newfoundland. This role focuses on sales development and relationship building with our established customer base. With an emphasis on mechanical equipment, you will review applications and develop the knowledge needed to recommend the best solutions for our customers' needs.
Interested applicants should be prepared to demonstrate a strong level of experience, knowledge and understanding in the following areas:
· Territory and time management across a large geographical area
· Managing relationships with key accounts, consulting engineers and contractors within the territory
· Reviewing applications to identify and recommend solutions that meet customer requirements
· Technical knowledge of water and wastewater processes and equipment
· Electrical principles and controls as they apply to mechanical equipment
· PLCs and VFDs (considered an asset)
· Diesel engines and power generation (considered an asset)
· Promotional campaigns, trade show exhibits and public presentations
Applicants should be:
· Experienced sales professionals with a technical degree or diploma and a background in sales
· Technically competent in electromechanical principles related to rotating equipment
· Curious, motivated to learn and proactive in pursuing sales opportunities and personal growth
· Capable of working independently as well as with a team
· Knowledgeable about the municipal, mining and industrial sectors within the region
